Creating a personalised impossible bottle

An impossible bottle makes a wonderful, unique gift for anybody. After all, how many people have seen a deck of cards in a glass bottle before? But what if you could make it even more special for the lucky recipient?

A question I am often asked is "can you add a message to the deck of cards?", and the answer is "yes"! Adding a personal note on the deck of cards takes an already-unique gift to the next level, and creates a truly memorable impossible bottle. Here is an example of one that I made recently:

This bottle contains a standard blue Bicycle deck of playing cards and a solid brass padlock. However, the pack of cards includes a personal, handwritten note to celebrate the recipient's birthday.

It is even possible to include a photograph in an impossible bottle, carefully cut to size and placed between the deck of cards and the wrapping/cellophane - almost like a "selfie bottle"!

Over the past ten years I have created bespoke bottles for all the usual happy occasions - birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc. I have yet to do one for a funeral, but I'm not ruling it out just yet.

I actually have my very own personalised impossible bottle. I had to make it myself of course, but it contains a deck of playing cards signed by my favourite childhood magician - Paul Daniels. You can see it here.
